Regular adverbs

-          add – LY to an adjective

-          example: quick » quickly

-          for adjectives ending in –LL add only –Y

-          example: full » fully

Exceptions

-          –LE become –LY

-          Example: gentle » gently

-          -Y becomes –ILY

-          Example: easy » easily

-          -IC becomes –ICALLY

-          Example: tragic » tragically

-          -UE becomes –ULY

-          Example: true » truly
